Start with the discipline
“European healthcare professional” is not one search category.
A nurse, radiographer, pharmacist, dentist, optometrist and veterinary surgeon each has a different regulator, qualification framework and employment market. A credible European search therefore begins with the profession, country of training, destination role and UK employer model.
Verovian routes each requirement through the corresponding specialist division rather than treating international recruitment as a generic candidate channel.
Country reach should follow the profession and role. It should not begin with indiscriminate outreach across every European market.
Professional requirements
The responsible UK regulator determines eligibility.
Overseas applicants must follow the requirements of the UK regulator for their profession. For example, the Nursing and Midwifery Council maintains the route for nurses and midwives trained outside the UK, including evidence, English-language and competence requirements.
Verovian can screen for qualification, current registration, recent experience and the candidate's progress or likely pathway. It does not make the regulator's decision or describe an applicant as UK registered before confirmation.
Employment and mobility
Registration and right to work are separate decisions.
A professional may have a viable registration pathway but still need an appropriate immigration route. The UK Health and Care Worker visa requires an eligible job and an offer from an approved employer, alongside the applicable occupation and salary requirements.
An international employer brief should identify sponsorship status, eligible role, compensation, location, relocation support, onboarding requirements and the intended start window before search begins.
Verovian support
A profession-led European search.
- Define the UK requirement. Profession, setting, location, employment model, registration requirement and sponsorship position.
- Select credible source markets. Language, qualification context, talent availability and realistic mobility.
- Screen the evidence. Education, registration, recent practice and individual relocation circumstances.
- Align expectations. Role scope, compensation, timing and the support offered by the employer.
- Introduce with consent. Candidates approve the specific representation before their profile moves.

Yes, subject to assessment. Each discipline is handled through the relevant specialist division and regulatory context.
