# Hiring UK-trained veterinary professionals in Singapore

Verovian supports carefully defined Singapore mandates through specialist veterinary search, qualification-aware screening and an employer proposition designed for international decisions.

## Direct answer

A Singapore practice can recruit a UK-trained veterinarian subject to the individual's qualification, the veterinary licensing or registration framework in force, work authorization and the employer's role. Singapore's Animal and Veterinary Service states that degrees from veterinary schools fully accredited by the RCVS are generally among the qualifications acceptable for licensing. Individual approval is still required.

Veterinary nurses and technicians should not be represented as following the veterinarian licensing route. Their role, qualification, supervision and employment requirements should be assessed separately.
